Office InformationOur office begins answering the phone at 8:00 am for scheduling appointments, with the nursing staff available for weight checks, laboratory work, immunizations, and allergy injections beginning at 8:30 am. Appointments are routinely scheduled between 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. We are open on Saturday for acute illnesses. TelephoneTelephone time is precious time for you, the parent. To expedite this service we appreciate your assistance in placing phone calls. Trained staff are on the telephone beginning at 8:00 am. We encourage routine calls to be made during office hours because your child's records are available to us. Please be prepared to give your name, telephone number, the child's name and a brief summary of the specific problem or concern. If the call cannot be handled immediately, it will be referred to the appropriate staff person and returned as soon as possible. Urgent CareIf you need to be seen after 4:00 pm Monday - Friday or on Saturday for an acute illness the visit may be accomodated in the Urgent Care hours of the clinic. Please note that your insurance company may have different co-pays for these Urgent Care visits. After Hours CallsAfter regular office hours, on weekends and holidays, we have a twenty-four hour answering service. Please be advised that for life threatening emergencies, a parent should immediately dial 911. For emergent care after 5:00 pm and before opening the next morning, please call our main office number (816) 373-1111 where you will be directed to our answering service. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable with your child's well being at all times not just during regular office hours. We do however request that you limit your after hour calls for true emergent care calls. InsuranceOur office participates with a number of insurance plans. For further information regarding those plans with which we participate, please see our insurance page.
